Halle Berry is the first Black woman who made it as the best actress Oscar in 2002 for her film, Monster’s Ball.  Halle Berry is considered as an icon in the film industry dating back to her roles in James Bond films as a sexy lady spy.  She is also famous for the films titled, Die another Day, X-Men, Spike Lee’s Jungle Fever and Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.

Despite being an excellent performer in movies, however, she can’t find her ideal man who would be sincere and loving.  She had a divorce with David Justice, a baseball player and Eric Benet, a singer with both cases traced to infidelity, and she has no child from both of them.  But at40, she found her true love with Gabriel Ambry, a model.

Last year, she was gifted with a daughter named Nahla, a few months before she was declared The Living Sexiest Woman, at 42.  In her interview with Oprah Winfrey, she said that she used positive thinking to get the child she longed for.

Since her role was that of a mother in her latest movie, Things We Lost in the Fire, she was convinced that she would become a mother soon since she was playing the role of a mother anyway, and that she was thinking of being a mother in the movie everyday.

She revealed that she kept all her pregnancy tests in the drawer believing that it was a way to be pregnant.  Then after 35 tests, she got what she want, a positive result.

Halle Berry keeps a tight pair of jeans which she had when she was still 15 years old.  She regularly tries them with the belief that she would maintain her body fitness as required in her movie career and you won’t believe it, for so many years now, that old jeans fit her.

She joined a beauty pageant during her teenage years and she revealed that when she was about to go up the stage to compete with ladies, she suddenly saw the signs of dollars everywhere.  At the end of the contest, she was declared Miss Teen All-American.

That was the start of her winning beauty crowns.  She became Miss Ohio U.S.A., 2nd place in Miss U.S.A. beauty pageant and 6th in Miss World.
